Please note, that there is a small charge to take the test - that is less than 2 US dollars per test or exactly 1 £UK pound per test.

All payments are collected by Worldpay secure payment system (the 5th biggest banking group in the world).

Once you have decided how many tests to purchase we will require you to register anonymously and answer the questions below. This will allow you to access the service for a minimum of three months from the date of purchase.

VI. Consumer Rights

1. Description of Service: The SPI© is an extremely well validated psychological pain test used in hospital clinical audit, clinical trials of new analgesics and in pain clinics. It can measure whatever type of head pain you have. After completing the questionnaire the test results will show 1) how much pain has affected your emotions, and 2) how well you are coping relative to the physical level of pain you are in. A statistical program then works out their scores in real time. Customers can purchase between 5 and 1000 tests. The time limit to take these tests will be 6 months from the date of purchase of your last multiple of ten tests taken. Upon registration to the site you are anonymous and only your email address, age, gender, country of residence and current headache tablet information will be recorded. Once you have registered you will be asked to positively agree to the terms and conditions of the site. You can pay for the test using Worldpay a secure third party payment system and after payment is acknowledged an email is forwarded to you confirming password. You can then take the test. A statistical program then works out your SPI© scores in real time. You are entitled to return to view your results even after you have completed all tests for at least 6 months from the date of purchase. Medical professionals wishing to purchase large numbers of tests will be emailed multiple individual user names for their patients.

2. The price of these tests start from as little as £5 for 5 tests and £10 for 10 tests. That is less than 2$ US* dollars per test! For larger volume usage professional fee prices are £50 for 50 tests, £100 for 100 tests, £200 for 200 tests, £500 for 500 tests and £1000 for 1000 tests. We accept payment by credit card/debit card in the following currencies dollar, euro, £ Sterling. (Approximately £5 = 8.3 US Dollars* or 7.25 Euro at 26/6/03). All amounts are quoted in pounds sterling ("£"), followed by the equivalent in U.S. dollars ("USD"). The actual amount billed to your credit card will be converted to your own currency by your bank at prevailing market rates. We will accept major credit cards including: Mastercard, Visa, Visa Delta, Visa Purchasing, JCB, Switch, Visa Electron UK Debit, Solo.

3. Under the Distance Selling Regulations you have a right to cancel your purchase of SPI tests and receive a refund if you are dissatisfied. To cancel you can email us, or write to us (see contact us for details) within seven days of receiving your password details, quoting your registration email address and password. If you are not satisfied with the service please do not continue to use it. We will reimburse only unused tests.

4. All refunds will be made via the Worldpay secure payment system and monies will be returned to the card used to purchase the tests.
